Restaurant processing, priced at cost
Restaurant margins run 3–6%, and card fees are one of your biggest costs after food and labor. We build a program around what you actually run, small debit tickets and tips, price those lowest, and show every line.
Example
For a full-service restaurant doing $60k a month in cards paying 3.1% today:
An estimate for a typical card mix, not a promise. Your quote shows the exact figure.

What's eating your margin
Flat rates on cheap cards
A $12 lunch on a debit card costs a few cents wholesale. On a flat 2.9% plan, you pay the same as a premium rewards card.
Fees on the tip, too
You pay processing on the whole ticket, tip included. Every point of markup multiplies across every tip.
Friday-night downtime
If the system drops at 7:30 pm, you need an answer in minutes, not a ticket number.
What you get

What switching looks like
What switching to cost-plus looks like
“I was skeptical, because every processor promises savings. They showed me the math on my own statement, line by line. No contract either, so there was nothing to lose.”
Illustrative scenarios based on typical merchant results, not customer reviews. Individual savings depend on volume and current rates.
How it works
From statement to switched in three steps
You spend about 30 minutes. We read the statement, set up the equipment and handle the paperwork.
Apply and upload statements
Apply online and upload recent statements from whoever processes your cards today. Within 24 hours we show you, line by line, what's interchange, what's markup and what's junk.
See your cost-plus quote
Your wholesale cost stays the same. Every other line shows today's price next to ours, in dollars a month, with the card mix behind it. If we can't beat what you pay now, we'll tell you.
Go live and watch it
We set up your card terminals, often the ones you already own. Then every deposit and fee is in your portal, line by line.
FAQ
Restaurants payment questions
Is cost-plus worth it for a restaurant?
Usually, above about $10,000 a month in cards. Restaurants see lots of debit cards and small tickets, which flat rates overcharge. Your free statement review shows the exact difference.
Do I pay processing on tips?
Yes, as with any processor, because the tip is part of the card payment. With Mojo Payments it's billed at the card's real cost plus your program's pricing, not a flat rate.
Which Clover is best for a restaurant?
Most full-service restaurants pair a Clover Station Duo at the counter with Clover Flex handhelds for pay-at-table. Quick-service spots often add a Clover Kiosk.
Can I keep my Clover?
Often yes. If your Clover can be moved, we set it up on your new account and you keep your menu and settings.
